Rachel is a practical, authentic and approachable coach, focused on the philosophy of working with the whole person to initiate and sustain change. Rachel has over 20 years of business and leadership experience, including 13 years of Federal service. She served at agencies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Coast Guard, and her roles varied from individual contributor to Assistant Director to Chief of Staff. Her leadership roles occurred in organizations that were experiencing major systemic and organizational change after national events such as 9/11 and the 2008 financial crisis.
Rachel has coached clients in a wide array of industries such as government, non-profit, major retail, construction, healthcare, professional services and the energy sector. She enjoys working with clients to identify their values and deconstruct their internal stories with the goal to identify new possibilities and help clients reach their desired futures. She focuses on individuals who are looking to enhance communication skills, confidence, work-life integration, emotional intelligence and maximizing career fulfillment.
Rachel’s outside interests reflect her broad curiosity and exploration. She loves being outdoors (mostly by the sea or in her vegetable garden), with her dog, friends and family. Or maybe at a baseball game. She enjoys traveling, going to concerts, reading, and Zumba. Rachel is a featured contributing blogger for The Huffington Post in areas of mental well-being and life/work integration.
