Daphne Y. Jefferson is an executive coach, facilitator and author with over 25 years of experience as a senior executive with the Federal government. She is passionate about helping leaders to gracefully navigate the challenges of transitions.
Daphne leverages her experience in leading organizations to support clients on topics such as executive presence, engagement, communications, leading teams through transitions, managing conflict, delegation, and emotional intelligence. She is adept at developing a strong coaching relationship based on trust, candor, clear goal setting and accountability.
Daphne served as Deputy Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) leading an organization with over 1,100 employees across the United States. She held executive leadership at the U.S. Department of Transportation, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Office of the Chief Financial Officer, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
Daphne supports clients across the transportation, financial services, healthcare, nonprofit, and tech sectors. She works with Fortune 500, government, universities and nonprofit organizations. Daphne is also an adjunct faculty member with Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership, enjoys travel and is a jewelry artist and metalsmith.
