She is very solution-focused, but process-driven; using her Psychology background to understand human behavior and potential, and helps clients surface strengths and obstacles, develop awareness and insight, and implement action plans for success…seeing everyone as “whole, creative, and resourceful”.
Kathy has over 30 years of experience developing and supporting leaders in many industries, including Financial Services, Public Relations, Health Care, Marketing, Law, and many more. She was an Executive coach for Deloitte, where she was a member of the Career Connections team; coaching Senior Leaders around issues related to career and personal development. often focusing on intra and inter communication skills, Emotional Intelligence, and goal-setting. Her clients describe Kathy as very supportive, engaging, and present; able to see patterns of self-sabotaging behavior, and co-create, with clients, specific plans for change
Kathy loves teaching and training, and was a Lead trainer for an internationally accredited Coach Training Institute for 10 years, and has co-facilitated a mentor program for coaches seeking their ICF (International Coach Federation) credential for the past 8 years. She has designed and delivered hundreds of corporate and non-profit workshops/trainings and has expertise in helping leaders to hone their presentation skills as well. She was a consultant for Rutgers University, and continues to train for the Non-Profit Help Desk in New York City, where she is head Executive Coaching. She also trains for the London-based Inspirational Development Group.
Kathy is a curious, life-long learner, and is presently seeking licensure as a Neuro-Positive Coach ™ through the Applied Neuroscience Institute in California. She incorporates many powerful approaches in her coaching, including Appreciative Inquiry, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Accelerated Learning, neuro-plasticity research, and Positive Psychology. She founded and co-hosted The Positivity Project a comprehensive tele-summit of world experts in the application of Positive Psychology leadership skills to personal and career development. She sees “Fun” as an important component of everything she does, and is dedicated to creating more personal and global optimism, happiness and positivity!
